The Ps2 was a great system with over 1000 games to choose from. With such a huge library of games, some games were bound to get overlooked. With so many games it is hard to narrow it down only to ten games- let us know if your game made the list, and remember please subscribe to get the latest news and updates from Level Up Studios.

#10 The Suffering

A gory first person / third person game that has you playing a man convicted of slaughtering his family. This game is particularity interesting because of its prison setting and gore. The game does feature a morality system. You can choose to save or go full evil Nicky and kill everything along the way. The game was unique and did Spawn a Sequel that was just as good. we feel that this would make a nice addition to the ps4.

#9 The Thing

The Thing is a sequel to Johns Carpenters movie The Thing. The Thing is a horror game that does things right. ( no Pun intended) The thing is a shape shifting alien that takes over the body of its victim and replicates them exactly. This adds a new element of fear in the game because you never know who in your crew the monster is. This little gem is fairly inexpensive and a blast to play.

#8 XIII

XIII art style still holds up today. Using cell shaded graphics the game looks crisp and clean which would be perfect for the ps4. This first person shooter is portrayed in comic book style is fun and enjoyable to play. It is a shame that we still have not seen a sequel to this game, and that it left us with a cliff hanger.

#7 Tenchu: Wrath of shadows

We would love to see Tenchu make a comeback to the ps4. That being said We here ate Level Up Studios feel the PS4 needs more ninja games. With upcoming games like Sekiro :shadows die twice we would love to see Tenchu make its debut again. Before Metal Gear Solid made its debut to the playstation, Tenchu made its name as one of the first stealth based games. Tenchu is by no means a easy game. Using all of your Ninja tools and skills in your arsenal your goal is to infiltrate enemy compounds and make the kill without being seen.

#6 Metal Gear Solid 2 Metal Gear solid 3:Snake eater

So we kind of cheated and combined both Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 together.

Both Games are worthy of coming to the ps4. With the recent flop that was Metal Gear: Survive, Metal gear should be re-release to the PS4. Both Games have already been released on the ps3 as a HD collection why not take it one step further and bring it to the PS4.

If you have never played Metal Gear Solid , you are in for a great time. Metal Gear Solid 2 Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty is an action adventure, stealth game developed and Konami. In this game you play mainly as Raiden, where your main objective is to infiltrate the "Big Shell" an off shore cleaning facility and stop a group of terrorist who call themselves the sons of liberty from causing nuclear devastation.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater takes the game in a different direction. This time playing as the Legendary Naked Snake before he became Big Boss. You are tasked with infiltrating a Russian facility to hunt down your former Mentor who has betrayed you and left you for dead. Metal Gear Solid # is unique because instead of sneaking around inside a building full of soldiers , you are instead sneaking around in your standard indoor environment, Metal Gear Solid 3 changed things up by adding large open areas, such as swamps and forests to traverse.

#5 Onimusha Trilogy

Many people would love to see Onimusha make a comeback. Capcom has been very tight lipped about this IP It has recently renewed its license and many fans are waiting to see what the company plans to do. With the upcoming release of Ghost of Tsushima they hype is strong for Onimusha. The first Onimusha used a pre rendered backgrounds and tank controls like the original Resident Evil. This however was changed in later sequels. Onimusha would make a great addition to the hidden section of ps2 games available on the ps4.

#4 Burnout 3

With the recent release of Burn Out Paradise on the Ps4, fans were itching to get a chance to play Burnout 3 again. Burn out 3 improves on the previous games with more insane crashes, races and unlockables . On top of that the game also featured crash mode, in which the main objective is to crash your car and cause the biggest accident possible to score the most points.

#3 The Simpsons: Hit and Run

The Simpsons hit and run is by no means a game under the radar but it was a game that deserves a second play through perhaps on newer consoles. The Simpsons hit and run the Simpsons take on Grand theft auto. No there are no guns but there are plenty of collectibles, racing and Simpsons nostalgia to go around. You can find hidden care through every level and unlock costumes. Also hidden in the game are multiple Nostalgic items that you can collect that share a brief history of the Simpsons.

#2 Gun

Before Red Dead revolver there was Gun. Gun is a great western open world cow boy game that did many thing right. We would love to see this game make it to the PS4 . The game starts on a ferry that is attacked by bandits- during the bandit attack you discover that your Father isn't who he says he is. After surviving the attack the journey to avenge and discover who your father is begins. The game can be completed in roughly 6-8 hours but there are plenty of side mission and collectibles to find in game, such as hunting ,bounty hunts and more.

#1 Blood Will Tell

This is the very definition of a hidden gem. Blood will tell is a hack and slash game ahead of its time. The story is as follows. You are a samurai who is in search of his missing body parts that were taken from his as a baby from demons. There are a total of 99 body parts to be found. Each body part adds power , stamina or in some cases gives you the ability to see color.. On paper this sounds terrible but the game has a very unique was of presenting itself. For example the first level of the game is completely black and white until you find demon who stole your eyes. Then the game goes full color and the hunt for the 99 demons and your missing body parts. Equipped with two sword arms, a sword, a rocket that shoots out of your knee, and machine gun the game is a blast to play.
